NYMY Rugs (“we”) makes custom handmade rugs in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and how you can control it, in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
When you request a quote we collect your name, email address, Canadian postal code, the photo of your design, and the details of your rug (shape, size, colours and any notes). We do not ask for payment details on this website.
Why we use it
Only to prepare and send your quote, to talk with you about your order, and to make and ship your rug within Canada. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for advertising without your permission.
Who helps us
We use trusted service providers who process your information on our behalf: Supabase (database and photo storage, hosted in Canada), Resend (sending our emails), and Vercel (hosting this website). When we ship your rug, Canada Post receives your name and delivery address. Some providers may process data outside Canada, under their own privacy safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep your request for up to 24 months after our last contact so we can follow up on your order, then we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent to being contacted. Write to us at the address below and we will answer within 30 days.
Cookies
This website only uses what it needs to work, such as remembering your language. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
